Description
A Rent Pressure Zone (RPZ) is a designated area where rents cannot be increased by more than general inflation, as recorded by the Harmonised Index of the Consumer Price (HICP), or by 2%, if inflation is higher. Under Housing for All, the Government’s plan for housing to 2030, the operation of RPZs has been extended until the end of 2025.
Most recently (December 2024) the following has been designated as an RPZ:
