Description
The Summary of Social Housing Assessment brings together information provided by local authorities on households that are qualified for social housing support but whose social housing need is not being met. The publications are point-in-time assessments and they can be used to drive and target delivery of social housing supports.
The purpose of the SSHA is to count the total number of households qualified for social housing support across the country, in order to better inform policy and plan for the delivery of the right types of housing support.
This sub-section presents the latest data from the most recently published SSHA report through multiple infographic indicators. The time series indicators cover data from 2017 onwards such as households qualified social housing support, special accommodation requirements, main need for social housing support, and sources of household income.
