- The Homeless Report for May 2024 was published and found that 14,159 people were accessing emergency accommodation during the week 20-26 May 2024
- The Housing for All update was published which showed 32,121 new homes started construction in the first five months of 2024, there were 4,850 approvals under the First Home Scheme in its first two years, and the Government approved establishment of new independent Building Standards Regulator.
- Social and affordable housing delivery statistics were published for Q1 2024, indicating 3,270 housing supports were delivered in the period: 720 new social homes, 2,175 support through HAP and 375 through RAS.
- Residential Commencement Notices were published for June 2024, indicating 1,663 homes commenced in the period and 33,784 homes had commenced in the first six months of 2024.
- The Social Housing Construction Project Status Report for Q1 2024 was published, showing there were 9,179 social homes on site and 15,848 homes at design and tender stage.
- Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant Statistics were published for Q2 2024. 1,167 applications were received, 1,179 applications were approved, and 226 grants were issued on completion of work.
- The Homeless Report for June 2024 was published and found that 14,303 people were accessing emergency accommodation during the week 24-30 June 2024.
August
- The CSO published the Residential Property Price Index for June 2024. The RPPI increased by 8.6% in the 12 months to June 2024, with prices in Dublin rising by 9.3% and prices outside Dublin up by 8.2%.
- The Homeless Report for July 2024 was published and found that 14,429 people were accessing emergency accommodation during the week 22-28 July 2024.
- Residential Commencement Notices were published for July 2024, indicating 1,574 homes commenced in the period and 35,358 homes had commenced in the first seven months of 2024.
September
- Residential Commencement Notices were published for August 2024, indicating 2,264 homes commenced in the period and 37,622 homes had commenced in the first eight months of 2024.
