Minister O'Sullivan Publishes the 2013 National Housing Survey for Unfinished Housing Developments

On 28th November, the Minister for Housing and Planning, Jan O’Sullivan, TD,  launched the 2013 National Housing Development Survey.

The survey has been tracking the extent and condition of unfinished housing developments since 2010. 

Among the key findings of this year’s survey are:

  • A decrease of more than half in the number of unfinished developments since 2010
  • Only 6.57% of dwellings surveyed in 2013 remain vacant down from 9.09% in 2012.
  • 553 developments effectively resolved in past 12 months

Progress Report 2013

The annual Progress Report on the Unfinished Housing Developments was launched by Ms. Jan O'Sullivan, T.D., Minister for Housing and Planning on the 28th November, 2013.
